Constituents

Small shrub. Height 4 meters. Leaves, flowers and root. Plant contains toxic substance similar to digoxin, oleandrin, nerein, and oleandrigenin.

Therapeutics

This is a cardiac depressant.

It is diuretic, and diaphoretic medicine.

It is an eruptive medicine for exanthemata (Flowers).

It is medicine externally for painless paralysis, herpes, and psoriasis.

It is remedy for vertigo with weak and irregular pulse.

It is remedy for cardiac weakness. 

It is remedy for paralysis of legs with numbness.

It is remedy for itching eruption, dermatosis at back of scalp, and pustular eruption in front of ankle joint.

Leaves had been used against pediculosis.
