Constituents
Perennial plant.
Height 1 meter. Root contains chrysophanic acid,
proanthocyanidins, flavonoids, polyphenols, oxalic acid, tannin, gum, iron, and
starch. Astringent.
Therapeutics
This is medicine for
dermatosis, and scrofula with constipation.
It is medicine for
anaemia.
It is medicine externally
for athlete’s foot.
It is remedy for
dry cough.
It is remedy for
stomatitis, hyperacidity, and early morning
diarrhoea.
It is remedy for kidney
stone.
It is remedy for
dermatitis.
It had been used for
making dye.
Dose
2 to 6 drops.
Dilution.
